Lana was born in 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden. She is of Kurdish origin but her parents had to flee from Iraq in 1982.
Her interest for music and singing has grown from an early age but it wasn’t until the age of 12, when she heard Pink’s album ”M!ssunderztood”, that her dream to become an artist started to take shape. She kept her dream a secret for 10 years until she decided to make it real.

In 2011 Lana participated in ”Voice of Mc donald’s”, which is a Swedish singing contest, and became one of their four finalists.
The year after she released her debut single ”What’s the Score”, written by her brother Ranj and herself.
Also written by the duo is the newly released single ”Sheck-a-rick ya neck”.

With Pink being her main inspiration Lana’s music has influences from real life. It contains both humor and happiness but it also has a bit of an edge.
